Live Blog:

What an incredible time we had at the St Patrick’s Day Festival at Indian Shores.

I do not want to close this “Live Blog” without inviting you to reflect on the extraordinary energy that we receive when we celebrate as a community. The creator has blessed us with an unbelievable view full of negative ions that charge us with serenity. When I think about all the goodness we receive every day makes me think of the phrase “Pay it Forward.” This expression is based on two spiritual principles known as Mercy and Kindness where a person repays a good deed by paying it to others and not to the benefactor. And when you practice these principles in the form of random acts of kindness, your life is filled with purpose. I invite you to fill your life with purpose by considering being a volunteer at the Great American Cleanup Day.

Art Newsome and his team at Indian Shores Properties Association invite you to join them on Saturday, March 21 to the Great American Cleanup day dedicated to clean up our beaches. If you would like to volunteer please call (727)595-4020.

And what do we do when the festival is over? We put on our bathing suits and sandals, cross the street and enjoy the beauty that has been entrusted to us. What a blessing to be able to enjoy this scenery!

This festival always brings world class vendors. The food was amazing, the jewelry, clothing, arts and crafts were proof of it. If you miss it, start planning for next year!

Thanks to Bonnie Dhonau, all of us had a great day celebrating St Paddy’s Day. Congratulations Bonnie for such a successful event!

This was the first time attending the St Patrick’s Day Festival for Jim Melton, a local artist. Thank you to all attendants for supporting not only our programs but also our local artists.

Pat Sorrano, Vice Mayor of Indian Shores describing what an incredible day we are having celebrating #StPatricksDay at #IndianShores.

Alice Lawrence, the Mayor’s wife did an amazing job feeding our minds and our tummies.

This is Delirious, the band that made us dance, sing and keep the good times rolling. Contact Angela if you want to have this amazing band at your event.

And the fun continues here at Indian Shores celebrating St Paddy’s Day

This is the team of girls who will proudly represent the USA in the international competition. Out of 15 girls going, we have three talented girls making proud our community.

And who doesn’t love the old fire trucks?

And this is where we are!  Come and find us!

And the dancing was… spectacular!

And these are the guys who are taking your money 😉  But knowing Mayor James Lawrence, he will do a great thing for our community.

Never a dull moment – look who showed up at the celebration
